Buses - city bus transport is served by MPK Kraków. Network of connections comprises 120 routes, including ordinary day lines, zone lines, supportive lines, and fast lines. Trams - city tram transport is served by MPK Kraków. The network comprises over twenty routes. |
TICKETS: A basic ticket that admits to public transport on ordinary day lines and fast lines costs 2.50 PLN, on nightlines - 5.00 PLN. If we are going to change vehicles, it is better to buy a temporal ticket. A ride lasting up to 60 minutes costs 3.10 PLN, a twenty-four hour ticket costs 10.40 PLN. Tickets are available in kiosks, MPK points, from ticket machines, from the driver of a vehicle (for additional excess fare). |

Trains - the most important railway station of Cracow is Dworzec Główny (the Main Railway Station), located in the city centre at Lubicz Street. National railway transport is managed by PKP. It is possible to go directly to all the cities and bigger towns from Cracow. Connections with Prague and Budapest are also maintained and InterCity trains managed by PKP run to Vienna, Berlin, and Hamburg. Buses - national and international bus transport is served on Regionalny Dworzec Autobusowy (the Regional Bus Station) and station of private transport operators at Cracow University of Technology. The two stations are located close to each other and in the vicinity of Główny Dworzec PKP (the Main Railway Station). |
