Władysław Królikowski graduated from the Machine Engineering College, Management and Marketing College and the National Security Academy. Between 1968 and 1991 he was employed as an aviation engineer. From 1999 he was involved with the Chief Inspectorate of Civil Aviation, and since 2002 (when the Inspectorate was transformed into the Civil Aviation Office) to the present he has held managerial positions in the CAO. He was the CIAO auditor and took part in Poland-EU negotiations on transport. He speaks Russian (fluent) and English (very well). He enjoys sailing.
